Juan Bahamonde Ruiz.
For more than 20 years, he has been devoted to the small-scale fishing, visiting the inward routes of the fjords of the Patagonia, gaining experience in sailing under hard weather conditions.
Nowadays, Juan is the president of the "Labor Union of small-scale fishermen of the Island of Tierra del Fuego", the first organization of the Patagonia that works, together with the professionals for the protection of the natural resources being exploited, by planning management projects and protected zones for different species, under the concept of a sustaining development.
